Berlin Savignyplatz is a train station in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. It is served by the S-Bahn lines S3, S5, S7 and S75.

History

The station was the last to open at the historic Stadtbahn line in 1896, added between the stations of Zoologischer Garten and Charlottenburg to develop the new residential area around the Savignyplatz square, named after the jurist Friedrich Carl von Savigny.

The firewall north of the tracks is the site of a 1986 gallery project by numerous artists like Joseph Beuys dealing with environmental destruction.
